North Iceland is usually the warmest and driest part of the country.The sun never sets on an Icelandic summer day. The Northern Wonders / TTV-01          

An unforgettable experience to some of Iceland“s natural wonders. The landscape and power of nature at  Asbyrgi, Dettifoss and Myvatn will take your breath away. Much of the landscape seen on this tour was  formed by eruptions and catastrophic floods thousands of years ago. Dettifoss waterfall is believed to be the most powerful in Europe and recently appeared in the 2012 Ridley Scott movie. This tour ends with a visit to the Myvatn Nature Baths, before heading back to Akureyri.

We drive from Akureyri to the whale watching capital Husavik. Before we get on the boat we visit the Whale Museum, then its on the boat for 3 hours. We take you from Akureyri and straight to the waterfall Dettifoss. Dettifoss is believed to be the most powerful one in Europe. And of course the biggest one in Iceland! After visiting this giant, we go to The Myvatn Nature Baths where we have an option of dipping in the geothermal water before we drive back to Akureyri. On the way we drive around lake Myvatn and stop at the beautiful waterfall Godafoss.
